Top legislator meets female lawmakers and leaders

-The Vietnamese Party has issued many resolutions and directives to care for female officials spiritually and materially, and make it easier for women to contribute to, study, and participate in social activities, the top legislator said.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man on Thursday met with full-time female deputies and female leaders of NA agencies on International Women's Day on March 8.

He said that the Deputies Affairs Committee of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term must properly implement the Party's directive on the proportion of female deputies, female representation in People's Council and in National Assembly agencies’ leadership.

He asked delegates to further promote the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women and contribute to making the legislative body’s activities more efficient.
